The Black Knight secondary double glazing horizontal slider windows are one of the most versatile designs and is our most popular unit type.
As with all our secondary double glazing designs, the horizontal slider is designed to improve heat loss, eradicate draughts, improve security and, when fitted with the correctly specified glass, greatly reduce noise.
The horizontal sliders can be manufactured in combinations of 2, 3, 4 and 5 panels and each of the individual glazed sashes can be removed for easy cleaning and maintenance of the existing window frame.
Each sash is fitted with brass rollers to ensure that the panels slide smoothly in the tracks and highly efficient twin brush seals ensure that the secondary glazing is completely draught-free.
Where security is of particular importance the horizontal slider can incorporate additional locks to deter potential intruders.
Secondary double glazing horizontal slider windows are designed to be fully compatible with all the other design types in the range and can be installed in combination to suit your particular window design requirements.
